Marin Tech Hospital ("we," "us," or "our") helps individuals, families, and small businesses with privacy services and technical support across Marin County and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit our contact form, email us, or call us, we collect the details you choose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number (optional), the topic you select, and any message you write. During a service engagement, you may share additional information needed to help you, such as accounts to review or devices to set up.
Information collected automatically. Our website is hosted on Vercel, which may automatically log basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you request, for security and to operate the site. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not build profiles about you.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and schedule a consultation or service.
- To provide the privacy and technical support services you request.
- To communicate with you about your request, appointments, and follow-up.
- To keep basic business records, secure our systems, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as needed to operate, or as required by law:
- Service providers. Companies that process information on our behalf to help us run the business — currently our website host (Vercel), our contact-form delivery service (FormSubmit), and our email provider (Proton). These providers may receive your information only to perform their service for us.
- At your direction. When you hire us for privacy cleanup, we may submit opt-out and removal requests containing your information to data brokers and people-search sites on your behalf, with your authorization.
- Legal and safety reasons. When we believe in good faith it is required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of you, us, or others.
Cookies and tracking technologies
Our website does not use cookies for advertising, and we do not use third-party analytics or build tracking profiles. When your browser loads our pages, it requests fonts from Google Fonts; and if you submit the contact form, your details are sent to our form provider (FormSubmit). As part of delivering those services, those providers may receive your IP address and basic technical data. If we add analytics or other technologies in the future, we will update this policy first.
Do Not Track
Some web browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. Because there is no common industry standard for how to interpret DNT signals, our website does not currently respond to them. Regardless of any DNT setting, we do not track you across third-party websites for advertising.
Data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services, maintain reasonable business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. You may ask us to delete information we hold about you, and we will do so unless we are required or permitted by law to keep it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, such as limiting access and using reputable service providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We only email or call you about your request and the services you ask for; we do not send marketing newsletters. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to a message or emailing marintechhospital@protonmail.com. You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
California privacy rights
California's Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives California residents rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information. The CCPA applies only to businesses that meet certain size thresholds, which a small local business like ours may not meet. Even so, we are committed to honoring reasonable requests from California residents to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold, and we will not discriminate against you for making a request. We do not sell or share your personal information. To make a request, email marintechhospital@protonmail.com, and we will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
